When I Hear Music, I Just Can’t Make My Feet Behave.

Clearly with the recent over abundance of frozen moisture, snow that is, wearing any truly extravagant shoe is out of the question. However, I will admit my desire to show off my recent DIY Pinterest pedicure is only strengthened by my new obsession with the shoes shown in Milan Fashion Week. First of all, fur is the number one Italian Fall trend, as far as I can tell, and not only are there garments adorned with fur but also the shoes are! I too own a pair of hair or fur covered bootie. Leather, jewel ornamented, suede, and velvet are all hot topics. We’ve got loafers, sandals, booties, and everything in between! So strap on your Prada belts, sit back and relax.

Well why not start of with a bang? From Just Cavalli a red fur boot is clearly the answer to everyone’s winter wonderland issues. Not only does this boot separate itself from any other boot, but it separates you from everyone else.

Elvis had his blue suede shoes, Chicca Lualdi has chartreuse suede and patent leather boots. People will be green with envy at the sight of you in these babies, get it… because they are green? Cool.

I mean it would be silly to include the entire boot for a boot, wouldn’t it? That’s why Krizia designed these strappy boots, literally strappy boots. I mean they are pretty amazing though, I think I could wear them around quite a bit.

What do you get when you mix a zebra with a skunk and add a little orange dye? These Fendi booties made just for these toesies.

Bejeweled socks? Bejeweled shoes? What is next bejeweled underwear… Oh wait, probably. From N° 21 these “Not-Your-Grandpa’s” loafers are so beyond. The jewel decals, not only the shoes but also the socks, could be worn with everything. Really, try it. Now.

I’ve won the golden ticket…. Er I mean shoe… Awakard. This Blair Waldorf-like Upper East Side-Gossip Girl pump from Antonio Marras Fall 2013 would be my equivalent of an Oscar. That is a lie I would really like an Oscar as well, but I wouldn’t mind these first, like now.

Turn up the Bee Gees and boogie all night! No? Well however you see these Prada sandals future or past, I do recommend you calm those Hungry Eyes and try Stayin’ Alive.

So ladies and gents, I promise “I will survive” this storm just like Gloria Gaynor and will keep up with all the Milan Fashion Week shows!
