Well as the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers,”
but seeing as this season has been so incredibly fickle and spring-like it’s only
fitting to expect some spring styles now. I love flowers, they’re pretty… They
resemble a new season, a new beginning… They smell awesome! I’m kind of
confused as to why we haven’t seen so much more of this trend coming along.
However one daring, starlet went out to the Golden Globes wearing a floral
print/ spring inspired gown by Carolina Herrera. That gal was non other than
Lucy Liu.
So the question is, how do we feel about floral print for
spring? Clearly Meryl Streep holds a strong opinion, but its spring. And since
the weather has been so down and in the dumps lately, I suggest a nice floral
pattern for everyone’s rainy day wardrobe!
From Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear. Her Spring
2013 RTW collection is made up of floral prints, light colors, and airy
materials. So I must say I’m ready to throw on this floral vest and VEST MY
BEST!
From Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear, Paul & Joe Collection,
this floral print maxi dress is beyond.
I’d sport it out and about.
Preen had a very interesting mix of prints for their Spring
2013 RTW collection. After watching it, I almost felt a little Eve in the
Garden type of story being told. So much snake skin to rose print. It made me
feel like grabbing the forbidden fruit is all ok!
If I didn’t mention my main man Peter Som, it would be a
fair argument that there is something wrong with me. His bright colors opened
my eyes and his floral prints made me breath fresh air (which later turned into
a cold as I was breathing primarily winter air), but none the less it was
inspiring.
And now for us poor youngens that admire from afar…

This is my all time favorite maxi skirt of the season so
far, and it’s “a-a-affordable!” Seeing as it is velvet, I’m clearly drooling
over it. Its floral, even more saliva (ew, I know… whatever.). It’s a maxi so
now I want spring like…. Tomorrow. Available at Chic Nova
I really love high-waisted, full skirt as I believe it
really could turn into a chic ensemble when paired with the right things. Man,
does anyone else love spring as much as I do? You tuck your winter drabs, and
throw on a something so fab! Avalaible at ASOS
So as we can see Rainy days and Mondays, or Tuesday always

about tomorrow’s outfit! FLOWERS, FLOWERS, and more FLOWERS!
